About Me

I believe therapy should feel like a space where you can show up as you are. I work from a compassionate and non-judgmental perspective, creating a space where you can feel comfortable being open and honest about what you are experiencing. My approach is structured yet relaxed, and I welcome questions, feedback, and open communication throughout our work together.

I specialize in working with trauma and PTSD, stress and anxiety, anger, attachment concerns, ADHD, and concurrent disorders. My work is trauma-informed, with an emphasis on building safety, understanding your responses, and developing tools that work for you before moving into deeper therapeutic work.

My background in neuroscience is something I often bring into my work with clients. I enjoy helping you better understand what is happening beneath the surface, including how the brain and nervous system can respond and adapt to stress, trauma, and difficult experiences.

Sometimes, simply understanding why we respond the way we do can make our experiences feel a little less confusing. From there, we can begin to recognize patterns, build awareness, and find ways of responding that feel more helpful to you.

I am an engaged therapist and will ask questions, offer reflections, provide psychoeducation, and gently challenge you when I think it may be useful.

At the same time, I don't believe therapy should feel like someone else is telling you what to do. We will work at a pace that feels manageable for you, and I welcome feedback about what is and isn't working throughout the process.

My goal is for you to leave therapy with a better understanding of yourself, practical tools you can actually use, and changes that feel meaningful and sustainable in your everyday life.
